Who we are.
The European Academy of Higher Studies (AEES) is an international academic organisation, based in France. It connects institutions, teaching teams and professional communities around programmes, quality criteria and institutional awards designed to be read, taught and verified.
Its seat is in Paris. Its work extends across Europe, Africa, the Americas and Asia-Pacific. AEES designs frameworks, organises quality assurance and issues its awards; partner institutions provide teaching and student support.
This division of roles allows the Academy to hold a common framework, while drawing on institutions rooted in their own territories.
Mission and vision.
AEES’s mission is to structure demanding education pathways, to strengthen the academic quality of the programmes and institutions that carry them, and to connect institutions beyond borders. It seeks an Academy in which every award, approval and decision can be understood by a student, a partner or an employer.
Its vision is of a higher-education landscape that is clearer, more open and better connected. Occupations change, knowledge circulates, pathways become international. The Academy responds with targeted programmes, shared quality assurance and a cooperation network that sets different experiences, contexts and ways of teaching alongside one another.

EU Transparency Register.
AEES is entered in the EU Transparency Register under number 524008052341-70. The register brings together organisations that engage with the European institutions on public policy — including education, skills and academic cooperation.
This entry places the Academy in the European landscape. It makes public the fact that AEES contributes, from France, to exchanges on higher education and skills development.
