Through this notice, the European Academy of Higher Studies (AEES), publisher of aees-edu.eu (the “Site”), informs visitors of the information that identifies it, the rules applicable to use of the Site and the reciprocal commitments that follow. The notice is given in particular under French Act No. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy.

The Site is published by the European Academy of Higher Studies, an international academic organisation based in France. It designs programmes, organises quality assurance and issues institutional awards.

AEES awards are private institutional titles. They are not French national degrees, unless a verifiable statement appears on the relevant specification. Academy approvals are a form of private quality assurance.

5. Nature of the information
The publisher undertakes to check, so far as is reasonable, the accuracy of information made available to the public, to keep the Site online and to correct, within a reasonable time, any material error notified to it in writing.
The information is published for information. Despite the care taken in drafting it, the publisher cannot guarantee the absence of every inaccuracy or omission. The programmes, prices and terms of a certification are those stated on the relevant page at the time of the order.
6. Personal data
The publisher processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and French Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978. Details of processing, retention and rights appear in the privacy policy.
7. Intellectual property
All elements of the Site and related spaces — text, visuals, trade marks, logos, design systems, software, handbooks, assessments and databases — are protected by intellectual-property law. They remain the property of AEES or of their respective owners.
Apart from strictly personal use linked to browsing or a current enrolment, it is forbidden to reproduce, adapt, publish, extract or reuse any part of the Site without prior written permission.
8. Publisher commitments
- to take reasonable steps to secure transactions entrusted to its payment providers;
- to provide, before an order, the essential information on the offer, the price and access arrangements;
- to reply to requests sent via the Site within a reasonable time, as a rule within a few working days.
9. User commitments
Users undertake to comply with this notice, the privacy policy and, if they order a certification, the certification terms. They must not in particular provide false information, impersonate another person, interfere with the Site or post unlawful content.
10. Safe browsing
AEES will never ask for your password by email, SMS or instant message. Be cautious with attachments or links from unknown senders. If in doubt, write to contact@aees-edu.eufrom the address you have registered.

12. Credits and links
Photographs and illustrations on the Site may come from AEES productions, partners or image libraries, including Unsplash. Reuse outside the Site is forbidden without permission. Links to third-party sites (institutions, partners, providers) do not mean the publisher controls their content or practices.
13. Governing law
This notice is governed by French law. In the event of difficulty, users should first contact AEES. Failing an amicable solution, the competent courts of Paris have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rules that may apply.
