Terms and conditions of certification sales

These terms set out the principles applicable to the purchase of private certifications offered on AEES Certify.

Together with the programme page and the information shown at checkout, they form the contract. The applicable version is the one accepted on the date of the order.

Provider

The service is provided by the European Academy of Higher Studies, 60 rue François Ier, 75008 Paris (RNA W751270685 · SIREN 923 913 420).

Purpose and nature of certifications

Each order provides access to an assessment and, upon successful completion, the issuance of a verifiable private AEES certificate. This certificate is not a state diploma.

It is not a qualification registered on the RNCP, unless a verifiable statement appears on the specification. Success is never automatic and does not guarantee employment or equivalence with a national diploma.

Order, price and payment

The price, currency, any fees or taxes, number of attempts and access conditions are shown before the order is confirmed.

The price shown is always the full certification price. It may be paid once, or in two instalments by card or PayPal: the first opens preparation and assessment; the balance, after a pass, issues the certificate. A partner exam voucher opens the same right as a settled payment.

Depending on the order, payment may be processed by the provider shown at checkout or handled manually. The order opens the assessment after the first amount due is confirmed. The certificate is created, readable and verifiable only after full payment, and only if you pass.

The terms and information displayed during checkout prevail for the relevant transaction.

Payment is made, according to what is available at the time, by card via Stripe or by PayPal. Card data are not stored on AEES servers.

Access to the assessment

Access is personal. The candidate must comply with the instructions, integrity rules, deadlines and assessment arrangements presented for the certification ordered.

Plagiarism, identity substitution and undeclared use of a generative system in a summative assessment are breaches.

A technical interruption does not automatically entitle the candidate to a new attempt. AEES reviews reported incidents in light of the available evidence and the terms of the order.

Cancellation and refunds

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you generally have fourteen days to withdraw, in accordance with the Consumer Code.

That right no longer applies once access to the preparatory content or the assessment has been opened or used with your agreement. An assessment already started does not give rise to a refund.

Any cancellation or refund request is reviewed in accordance with applicable law and the specific terms presented during checkout, including whether access to the assessment has already been used.

Before ordering, candidates should review these terms and contact AEES with any questions.

Complaints and contact

For questions about an order, payment, access or a complaint, contact AEES and provide the order reference and the email address used for the purchase: certify@aees-edu.eu.

Applicable version

The applicable version is the one accepted on the order date. AEES may update these terms for future orders.
